HR COORDINATOR

Horizon Oxygen and Medical Equipment, Inc. is seeking a HR Coordinator with a professional mindset who is organized, tech-savvy, detail oriented, and possesses the desire to “Be a Blessing!”

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and promote the company mission of “Being a Blessing”
  • Collect, compile, and enter payroll data.
  • Reconcile employee deductions- investigate and correct any discrepancies.
  • Update payroll record changes including insurance coverage, loan payments, salary increase, etc.
  • Process new employees, terminations, transfers, and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
  • Support employee recognition programs.
  • Conducts audit of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls and responding to emails in a timely manner.
  • Arrange corporate events to take place outside of the workplace, such as fund-raising and staff appreciation events.
  • Work in collaboration with HR and Corporate Office staff relative to daily functions, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
  • Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and outside contacts.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of human resources experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP credential preferred.

  • Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive information
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be technology savvy
  • Ability to problem solve and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Courteous, professional manner, with a strong service-oriented mindset.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and follow-up with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
